this book was amazing . Maisy was such a big part of the series & to see her strive and succeed even with everything that has happened was amazing . this was an amazing ending . I know i’m not the only one wishing this series of books became a netflix series .
The series that gets better with every book!

Ahhhh, I have SO much love for this series! I’ve been a huge fan since book one and I’m quite certain that this series just gets better as each book comes in. Beau from The Outpost still has my heart as my favorite, but Hunter comes in at a strong second.
Let me start off by saying that withholding the truth will get you nowhere except in a lot of trouble … and the longer you hold that bomb of a truth in, the bigger the destruction.
I’ve been so eager to hear Maisy’s story since we get to see her in the previous books. She has gone through so much with her ex, the greatest thing she got from him was her son. At this point, now that he’s 3 years old, she has her inn and friends, she’s content with her life. The people she surrounds herself with, all have found their happiness in someone and she’s just happy with her son. However, her friends won’t stop at trying to set her up on blind dates that just end up being a big fail. Maisy tries to play it off like she doesn’t need someone, but deep down it’s what she wants. But after all she endured with her ex, Everett, will she be able to open again and trust someone.
Hunter, he’s THE guy for her. You’ll know it instantly and I’m sure everyone in this book knows it. It just takes some time for Maisy to come around to her new occupant at the inn, but he chips away at her walls. All while keeping a pretty big secret from her. So, from the get go, you already know once the secret is out, all hell will break loose. But I love how relentless he is with her and refuses to take no as answer, especially from Maisy. She can push him away all she wants, but deep down she knows that he’s perfect for her.
Their story was perfect in so many ways and I loved every single page of The Bitterroot Inn. Devney Perry has easily become one of my favorite authors and I’m so sad to see the end of this beautiful series. It was the perfect ending and I’m just in love with the last paragraph Devney writes … guess you’ll just have to read the book to see what I’m talking about.
I highly recommend not only this story, but the entire Jamison Valley series. Devney has created beautiful stories for each couple and you’ll definitely fall in love with all of them. She’ll draw you in with not only her characters but the way she writes. Soooo, hurry up and 1-click this series!

Author Devney Perry did it again! What a perfect, solid finish to the five-book Jamison Valley series! This series was my favorite reads in 2017! I loved Maisey and Hunter’s story. I do not want to summarize this book. Just do yourself a favor and read it! This book is much more than a romance story! This author delivered such rich, engaging, well developed characters, a desirable location and believable heartwarming relationships in all five books! I literally could not put any of the books down as I began to read each one! I truly cannot wait to see what Devney Perry creates for us in 2018!
Maisy, Coby, and Hunter Rock!
I absolutely loved Maisy, Coby, and Hunter!!! Maisy is a single Mom, who has sworn off doctors for good reason. she runs the Bitterroot Inn to support her son, Coby. Hunter enters the picture renting a room. It was love at first knee. Read to get the humor to that statement. Hunter has something to hide and Maisy has something to lose—her heart. This is a must read to start your new year off with a bang! This series is one of the best out there. The book can be read as a stand-alone, but really all five books are five star reads! Thanks to the beautiful ending to this series, Devney! I cannot wait to read what you write next!

The Bitterroot Inn is the final installment in the Jamison Valley Series. The series is a set of stand-alone books. Each book in this set is extraordinary and this book wraps up the series in a beautiful bow! These books are everything a great read should be! The are just smile ear to ear goodness! 💜
This book is a perfect blend of a strong heroine, swoony alpha and small town goodness. The writing is stellar and the author is one of my top favorites. She has crafted literary perfection since her first book! I was sad to have the series end, but it was beautifully executed and heartwarming, from first book to final epilogue!

The perfect end to the Jamison Valley series.
After The Outpost (and Beau, swoon...), my expectations for Maisy's story were set high. And Devney did not disappoint. The heroine who fell on hard times in the first book, and that I've come to admire more with each new chapter in the series, meets the dreamy Hunter Faraday in this final book. Her baggage plus his secrets equal the perfect amount of intrigue to keep you invested in their love story.
This book has the perfect amount of romance, real life, alpha male, strong heroine, steam, and smooth pacing that will keep your pages turning. All of our favorite Prescott residents make an appearance for us to check in on their happily-ever-afters. And the epilogue - I can't even. It weaves all of the beautiful story strands into a perfectly crafted bow that will make you want to smile, tear up, and read it all over from the beginning.
This is a series that you can fall in love with. I certainly did and the feelings have gotten stronger with each book. Though I hate to leave Prescott behind, I will not hesitate to one-click and read anything that Devney Perry writes in the future. Her signature blend with the perfect bit of everything will hook even the most seasoned romance reader with fresh stories, lovingly written with the happiest of endings.
P.S. If I said PERFECT too many times it is because I couldn't find a stronger or more adequate synonym.
She saved the best for last
Let me as I loved this series, reading the journey of all these couples has been a pleasure I’m so happy that Devney Perry brought them into our lives and I’m going to miss them.
Maisy a home town girl who’s past mistake left her with nightmares and a cute lived son Coby, leaving nursing she takes over the towns motel working hard to make it her own.
Hunter comes back to town with one mission to watch over Maisy even if it’s from afar since they’ve never met but Maisy and Coby aren’t strangers to Hunter.
Their journey is filled with secrets but also a strong attraction that if they can get past the latter will be filled with love!
You’ll be turning the pages so fast but Devney will leave you guessing for a bit, but so worth it!
The epilogue, omg, it’ll have you loving everyone all over again and want to start their jour
Amazing series closer
It seems Devney Perry writes a new book to out do her last one and she succeeds every time. Her stories dont revolve around sex and more sex, they’ve got heart and soul along with the heat. Maisy and Hunter’s book is the perfect sweet to go with everything else in the story and was the perfect way to end this series.
I’m sad this series is over but hope to see more later on from the kids maybe??? *hint hint*
Review: Jamison Valley 5: The Bitterroot Inn
The Bitterroot Inn by Devney Perry is the fifth and final book in her fabulous Jamison valley series. And finally.... Maisey's story! What an amazing conclusion to this unbelievably beautiful series!
Maisey is still not over the trauma of what happened with the father of her baby. He had kidnapped her and threatened her best friends life if she didn't take pills to cause an abortion that would probably also kill her. She saved both herself and Gigi by killing him before he killed them. She was a hero, but only views herself as a murderer.
Now, living a busy life with her 4 year old son, Coby, she has the Inn she purchased and her family and friends to keep her occupied. She gave up nursing and never stepped a foot inside that hospital where everything happened again. She is good, but she isn't great.
Hunter has been around Maisey since the day she went into the hospital the next town over to give birth to Coby. He had his own motives for being there but cannot get her out of his mind. A few years have passed and he is back in Prescott and staying at the inn while his house is being built. He is completely drawn to Maisey and to Coby but knows that with his past he MUST take it slow and build their relationship before he scares her away with the details of his past.
Emotional, gut-wrenching, heart-warming. Their aren't enough awesome book adjectives to describe this story or this series. Maisey has been a secondary character throughout the series and this has been a slow build to finally see her heal, fall in love, and put the terrible past behind her. LOVED THIS!!!!
