  • Stilted writing, tedious plot

    Don’t waste your money or time. I couldn’t even get through the first chapter, the writing was so bad. I skipped ahead just to see if it got any better…NOPE.

    This is the second time I've read this book and I never became board with it. It's a great story with very developed characters you could relate to. The series is great as well and I would highly recommend it for mature readers.

    What a good read!! As soon as I finish this I'm going to purchase Liberty and Madison's stories. There is just enough sexual activity to keep it interesting but not on every page or even every chapter. You'll have a hard time putting it down. Read and enjoy.

    Bought book over 2 months ago, still haven't received it, no way to find out where it is, no one to talk too.. Got e-mail day of order thanking me for purchase, was going to buy a bunch more but NO THANK u, that's like opening the window of my vehicle and letting it fly..! Will buy books at store, sure their more money but at least u have it to read, am very very unhappy and disappointed with company..!

    I stayed up until 3 am and finished the novel in a day it was so good! You immediately get attached to the characters and cannot put the book down. I am such a fan of historical romance and this was amazing. I loved the mix between love and the sexy romance there was. It was nicely written as well. I wish the story could go on! This is the type of book where you rethink about the characters during the day, and when you finish it, you are left breathless and a little dazed as you resume your 'normal' life. Amazing read!

    Too much physical attraction too fast for a historical novel. Sensibilities and thoughts were modern day not set in 1812 england and the juxtaposition was irritating. Got through 50 pages and stopped.
