  • The Awakened - very disappointing

    I found this book to be somewhat disjointed. it is not a "complete" book, with the development of well-established characters. instead, it is the stories of four characters loosely connected, but never fully developed or entwined with each other. it is the separate stories of Adair, Maeryn, Kael & Saba. (I hope I have spelled their names correctly!) there is no ending. nothing answers the questions of what happened to these four people... of why they are all in the same story... or what each one's story has to do with the book as a whole. very disappointing.
