    I picked up these books after seeing the "Last Kingdom" miniseries and all I can say is , "wow". I am Constantly struggling thru painful books about topics I enjoy yet I find ridiculous and cliché. This book gripped me from the beginning and never disappointed. I never felt my intelligence insulted on he contrary I was consistently amazed at the clever way "historical" Arthurian characters were woven Into the tale. And I love all of the seemingly unnecessary yet enriching details. They make the reader feel he or she is right there with the characters hearing, smelling, touching. Now I only wish M r. Cornwell would write on more topics of my interest. Thank you. Please write more.
