    Book is good at some points but overall ok. Author assumes reader knows the subject. Doesn't go into details, especially creating the layouts.

    I was deep in the middle of learning Objective-C and Xcode when Swift and the new Xcode came out. I read the Apple book on Swift and of course, as awesome as Swift is, I wanted to stop coding with Objective-C and use Swift from then on. However, learning Swift was only half the battle and I needed more. This book is the more! -So far anyway.. I have learned more about actually building an app from reading roughly half this book than I have learned over several months from other sources. Very easy to follow and up to date. -Swift, Xcode 6, and iOS 8. This is the one you want! Make sure you also read the Swift book by Apple.
